I set out in hospital radio, but my first paid job in radio being at the BBC in Newcastle.

I came to Century Radio last September and can be found every weekday, from 10am to 2pm, for great music, chat Manic Minute; the All Request Lunch and much more...

Interesting facts:

When I'm not in the Century Radio studios, you can find me on North East Tonight - the Northern edition for Tyneside, Wearside, Durham and Northumberland.

My first ever job was working at a chemist - how I blushed as a 16 year old!

If I wasn't a DJ, I think I'd probably be a teacher.

I was born in Sheffield, educated in Cornwall and then Sunderland.

My favourite ever pastime is going to the gym - seriously I love it!

I support Sunderland Football Club.

I love eating pasta and think that Frace is the best holiday destination.

As a child, I can remember being told off at school for talking too much!

Fave...

film - Dead Poets Society;

bands and artists - The Feeling, Norah Jones, Madeline Peyroux, Abba and many more;

song - Human, by The Human League;

album - Human League's Dare.

The best track to get a party started is Dancing Queen, by Abba, while Wind Beneath My Wings-Bette Midler makes the perfect last dance.

My favourite decade is the 80s - for being a teenager and meeting her indoors!

I Don't Feel Like Dancing, by the Scissor Sisters, best sums me up. I need a few drinks to get me dancing and when I start I don't stop!!

I live with my partner and two cats - Frazer and Rosie.

I've interviewed Tony Blair, met Fran from Travis, worked with Angela Rippon - I could go on but I don't want to bore you...

The person I would most like to meet is George Galloway.

My prediction for 2007 is: Things can only get better - can't they?
